Questions?

How can I find my instructor?

You can locate your instructor using the methods listed on your course outline. Full-time instructors have their office hours listed on their course outline as well as on the bulletin board outside of the division office F-118. Part-time instructors do not have offices or office hours, if you cannot contact them by what is listed on their course outline you may leave a message in their mailbox located next to the business office in the Princess Anne bldg.

Is it too late to add a class after the semester begins?

No, depending on your situation, dates and deadlines, you may enter a class with the instructors permission signature on a add/drop form. Once your instructor signs the form bring it to the division office F-118 for the deans signature. Go to the current semesters academic calender to review the deadline information. Please keep in mind, depending on how many days you have missed from the class, the instructor has the right to deny the student entrance into their class. Students cannot miss more than 6 classes within a 16 week semester. TCC offers classes that start later in the semester, sometimes those classes are the better option rather than starting a class with accrued absences.

What do I do if I have a problem or concern with my instructor ?

If you have a problem with your instructor, the first thing you should do is talk to the instructor. Most of the time situations, problems and concerns can be resolved before they are taken to the Deans office. If you cannot resolve the issue with the instructor, the next step would be to come to the divison office to pick up a student concern form. After filling the form out completely, the dean will take the documents and begin investigating the situation.
